Well it felt good to be back pulling a trigger At Reece Bottom! The weather was not perfect but better than 105 in the shade. It was also nice to have new to us shooters and after they pulled off a couple of wins I feel sure they will be back. As far as my shooting I was very happy but I’m never satisfied.

well I was all ready to come shoot Saturday then Friday afternoon while helping my Nephew at our new hunting land I fell and landed on left hand (trigger hand) after a trip to the ER I was told the arm was broke right at the wrist and may need surgery. As always had a fun day at Reese Bottom. The weather was better than we could have hoped for. Thank you Mr. Wynne for sharing your Range.
As for as my shooting well I didn’t fill all my goals for the match mainly because I had a few “senile moments” but at the end of the day was pleased with the results. As long as I’m improving and learning I’m happy

Mr. Wynne because of my profound speech recognition and hearing loss my electronic muffs are a very important item of my range bag. I had a chance to shoot prone today. I do shoot prone in some of the other stuff I shoot but in that I cannot use an artificial rest, I don’t shoot past 200 meters and normally do use scopes. And the guns that I shoot are totally different set ups than what I shoot at Reese Bottom (What I shoot at Reese bottom are not legal under IHMSA rules).…[Read more]
