My main proposal is to do whatever we/I can to make this fun for everyone most impartially Mr. Wynne.

As we push it out to 1K I got to thinking
Looking at my target from the 1K fun day my @ target FPS was 1163 my phone app. calculated it @ 1246 fps @1K Which both is close to dropping subsonic which got me thinking what effect that would have.
Well from what I read the “affect” could be anything from nothing to total bullet tumble.

I fully agree I rather deal with virtual X than try to aim at a target that the good shooter’s of Reese Bottom “done shot the center out of”

Mr Wynne I really don’t think today could have gone any Better! The rain didn’t stop this parade and those that wimped out you miss a fun day. Steve after reading your post got me to thinking I’ve never really used the Horizontal correction on my ballistic app. and as we embark into the world of 1K shooting I’m thinking I NEED TO. With Varget sometimes getting hard to find figured I could need a plan B so after a little research and because I had some decided to give Reloader 15 a try in the 6BrX. One of interesting things that the Shot Marker does is give you the Bullet speed at the target along with SD. As I stated in my match report my 6 BrX with 107 SMK with a MV of 2750 (16” barrel) had an avg. velocity of 1863 @ 600. iStrelok (phone app) backs that up saying 1833 @600. Another fun day @ Reese Bottom. Glad to see the big crowd and the new to us shooter. I’m always excited anytime we have new YOUNG shooters.

My August match report
No rain but plenty of heat not just from the sun but the shooter were hot too I think most shooter had a very good match! I know I did, some really great scores. Between the Reece bottom always a chance of rain and the blazing sun the new “shed” has earned it keep and the E- targets has made F class fun to shoot.
