Steve, I was thinking today about some of the things that we witnessed yesterday. A 1 mile shot is unchartered waters for all of us and I am convinced that we do not have a clue as to the effects of conditions over that distance. Mr. Steve Gilley and Mr. Johnny Pace came to Reese Hill this morning with a mission in mind. To hit a target 1 mile away. I have pieced a video together from this morning and hope to get it up later tonight. Maybe, maybe not, a very large file. If any of you good shooters go to the ‘Photos’ page to see the photos from the trip to Cool Acres, there is a photo of a group of Mrs. Donna’s awards hanging on a trailer door. Look close at the top right corner and you will see a familiar pin. Reese Bottom goes everywhere. WWE

Reese Bottom will be hosting the first bench rest match of 2016 on Saturday March 19, 2016. We will start registering at 8 am and hopefully be shooting by 9 am. Listen up guys, this is a winner speaking and telling secrets. I think that I heard both Steve and Brett say that they were shooting virgin brass. Kinda makes one wonder about spending any extra time fire forming brass. That is unless you want to do something stupid like build a couple of dashers. Good job Steve. WWE

Do you hold off or do you dial windage? Yesterday at Reese Bottom, the wind from the south was taking my 80 grain berger from 12 to 15 inches to the north. I dialed 2 moa of windage and seemed okay until the third target when things seems to change a little. After two nines I took a moa out and things got really weird. Talking to a good…[Read more]

I was so glad to see Reese Bottom have a personality. There appeared to be enough condition that it was not just a trigger pulling contest, although some of the Open guys made it appear that way.
