I was so glad to see Reese Bottom have a personality. There appeared to be enough condition that it was not just a trigger pulling contest, although some of the Open guys made it appear that way. Well, the 2016 season has arrived. Reese Bottom will host the first match of the year this Saturday February 20, 2016 with registration beginning at 8 am and hopefully be shooting by 9:00 am. Allen, must be nice to be able to build a new rifle each year. Good luck with the dasher. I am sure that you will enjoy it at 1000 yards but, having two of the suckers, I cannot honestly recommend at 600 yards. Steve, the .223 has a Brux 1 X 8 twist barrel. I shoot varget powder, CCI BR4 primers, and lapua brass and 80 gn berger bullets. I have these loaded with 24.5 gn varget and I reduce the load to 22.5 over 70 degrees. I loaded these to shoot in November so the weather should be fine in February.
