Steve Gilley. Jimmy Davis will not be able to attend. He has been very sick since Thanksgiving and has been in and out of ICU. He is getting better but has drainage tube in his stomach and a pick line taking lots of antibiotics. Mention him in your prayers please.

Not gun related but wanted everyone to know that Jimmy has been really sick since Thansgiving. His gallbladder flared up and by the time they operated it had set up gangrene!! I’m going to try being there more this year and will be willing to help in any capacity that I can. I understand that the 1000 yds play day went well but from shooting here at 1000 the weather can be downright cruel at that range!! Looking forward to this 1000 yard stuff. Sent 10 rounds today in this 15 mph switching wind. It was difficult keeping the bullet on a 16″ wide metal plate. Was using 5 moa’s windage and the wind was not full value. Hope it is somewhat calm when we shoot!

I just set up some 1100 yard steel targets. May have a match later this fall when the heat drops. Will set up similar to PRS match but will most likely shoot off bench from one location at multiple targets. They will be from 400 out to 1100 yards and will get one shot at each, hit or miss!!
