Al, I will take a shot at this one although I am not sure that there is an exact answer. I just looked back at the results of this month’s midrange match and noticed that several shooters matched or bettered there high relay score during the third relay. These rifles were still shooting pretty well after 70 or so shots. Would a clean barrel…[Read more]

Jim, thanks for this post. It is nice to know famous people. Excuse my ignorance, but please explain the format and also tell us what all of the numbers represent for a shooter. Good to hear from you. WWE

Dave, thanks for sharing this information in the forums. That is one impressive target. That would be all of our dream. I have a few questions and observations. Every shooter loves the first relay. Did Mr. Ray share any load data? What bullet are you experimenting with jamming and jumping? Can you attribute your recent success to anything…[Read more]

This is an interesting topic and a lot can be learned here. Steve, I was thinking after the Mid Range Match that I probably was unfair to your shooting with my verbal rant when I could not get out of the nine ring. Our problems both happened about the same time. I am sure that shooters are expected to be respectful of other shooters and I was…[Read more]

Al, I did use the new Seb Joy Pod during the match yesterday. The wider footprint of the rest is very stable and I personally like a joy stick. I also shoot my bench gun on a coaxial rest. I will also say that I think along with some other adjustments that I felt a lot more comfortable shooting from the prone position yesterday. I will admit…[Read more]

Thomas, just went to the shed and checked the scoring sheet. It was actually shot #3. I had set a goal to shoot 580, same as my failure last prone match and was very pleased with my personal best 584. With that being said, the way it happened was disappointing.(progressively worse) From what little I know, I would say that the conditions all…[Read more]

Dan, on our last trip to the pits, a big old ugly snake did crawl under the walkway but Ralph said it had a pointed tail which somehow made it harmless. Steve and I figured he knew what he was talking about. lol

Lance, I do not have and have not shot over a Farley rest, but I do have a Caldwell rest with a joy stick and I must say that I personally like the joy stick concept. From all that I have ever read, the Farley is very high quality. Good luck with your decision. WWE

Lance, Ernie Bishop, Wyoming, is the dealer here in the states. Mine was about a nine month wait time. I have shot a few shots over mine, it seems very stable. Plan to shoot it this month in the prone match. WWE

$64,000 = not’a, I went over a month with no groups on the target. WWE

Just got off of the phone with Mr. James. The centers are on the way. Thanks for the info Sam.

I got the email with photo. Thanks, WWE
