It was a hot windy day at out range. I got lucky and drew the second relay bench seven. The mirage was terrible so I turned the power down to 20. I have a 12 x42 Nightforce. So I could try to remove the mirage. My sightseers stayed in the blue. Just moved from side to side from 9 to 3. I thought if it just stays on one side or the other for…[Read more]

We have had Bullets just poke holes in deer too mostly the heavier Bullets for the caliber i.e. 220 for a 30 we use a 308 Norma and shoot 180 or 190 I can tell you the nosler 185 balletic tip does a really good job. Of knocking them down in one shot. But we shoot threw the tree tops a lot and…[Read more]

Hello shooters. This is about the “shooter”. He traveled over 2500 miles, loaded his ammo two weeks in advance, took his wife to a resort, then came to Williamsport won two relays, saved Dave Burkhart from a DQ, ate at all the finest restaurants, laughed with us all, won three pins for his hat, put up with us Yankees, took wife to Hershey and…[Read more]

Jim I do fire form my cases like Wynn does, except I do have a fire form rifle. I do use varget 31 gr. with a Sierra 107 bullet seated into the lands. You will loose a couple cases from splitting, the shoulders will not be perfect but after the second firing they will be fine. There is a hydronic die to form cases. Also there is a guy on the…[Read more]
