The upper right corner mentions “unnamed” so I don’t know who’s target that is. lol. Learn to do that finger pinch thingy to expand the screen before you take the screen shot. My laptop screen is much bigger and allows that but your phone screen should allow for enough enlargement to ID the bullets. WWE

A great time was had by all today at the Reese Bottom 1000 yard fun shoot. Thanks to the new shed and the Shotmarker E-Targets the shooters were able to stay dry and enjoy some great shooting in the rain. Thanks to Michael Claunch we are now closer to having something to shoot at all the way to 1000 yards. It has not rained in the last several days but the hill at Reese Bottom is still very wet[see the boots]. I took a few photos as always so click to enlarge. Weather permitting, we should be ready by the third Saturday in December. WWE

Ken, what this does is it eliminates the time that it would take to type in a name or whatever info your club so chooses to identify the target. A problem that we have had is that the person in charge of hitting all of the icons is pointing and missing. It only takes a tap or peck, not a punch and hold. Ken, we actually did this at the bench rest match held last Saturday. I am going to attach a photo of a shotmarker target to help explain. Not sure where this is taking us, but I am sure something can be learned. First off, a couple of weeks ago I tested a load of H 4895 for the first time trying to get the muzzle velocity up to 2925 fps. Richard, this is my info from November. I was shooting the Dasher, H4895 = 31 gn, Vapor Trail 103 gn, 28 inch barrel and the muzzle velocity a few days before was approx.
2925 fps. Saturday it was somewhat colder but at the target my first two targets avg.

I was just looking over the sheet that all of our Saturday scores were written on and noticed an interesting number. We had twenty good shooters and each shot twenty record rounds for a 400 shot total. There was a total of 14 ‘Xs’ recorded on the day. On the second target, no shooter recorded an ‘X’. Yes, you certainly can shoot a muzzle brake at the Reese Bottom bench rest matches.
I plan to have something for breakfast and lunch for those interested. Might even bring the coffee pot.
Plans are to have some coal for the heater if some of you early birds would get the thing started.
