The match will be a 3 X 20 X 1000. We will have the same three divisions: open, ftr, and bench. We will take up to twenty-five good shooters, five of which can shoot…[Read more]

Barry, I have been scratching my head since the match on Saturday in regard to my third target. The two things that you mention above that caught my attention are knowing when to turn the tuner and that Ricky did not seem to be bothered by the mirage. Well, I was bothered by the mirage, and I did not know when I should have turned down the scope…[Read more]

Richard, I am also glad to be back shooting and being able to read your reports. Maybe 2026 will be the year that others follow your lead and let us all know that they enjoyed their experience at Reese Bottom. Be sure and tell your daughter that we are all glad that she brought you to Reese Bottom. We could not operate without a treasurer.…[Read more]

I have updated the home page, results page, and the photo page. I want to thank all of you good shooters for supporting the matches at Reese Bottom. I just noticed that I…[Read more]

Surrell, I can see to it that your request for the boys is met. They will both be shooting in the Open Division. Your post above mentions a wooden bench. I’m still not clear about this. Are you wanting to shoot from the wooden bench? If so, the match is full. Please say for sure what Surrell’s intentions are. WWE

Tuesday night February 17 at 8:45. The way that I am reading this is that the benches are full and we have 1 spot left.
The way that I am reading the weather forecast is that there is a chance of rain both Friday and Saturday, but it seems to be showers and not a gully washer which means we should be okay. If the creek is not across the road,…[Read more]

Surrell, this is not real clear to me. I assume you are trying to sign both fellows up to shoot from a bench and use the same rest. If so, that will not work. I only intend to have one bench relay. There are two benches available at this time and you can claim them, but they will need their own rest and be able to shoot at the same time. WWE

Surrell, thank you for telling us about Michael. Sorry to hear this. He was always such a pleasure to be around.
Talked with Richard Allen yesterday. He has come along side his wife who is experiencing some health problems.
Champion Sniper, just saying, two benches are still unspoken for. WWE

Please understand that this is only a list, not any preference. If I were coming to a match at Reese Bottom and needed a place to stay the night before, I would recommend staying at a motel in Demopolis, Alabama. There are four that I know of, and they are all on Hwy 80 about 30 minutes from the range. There is a Best Western, a Quality Inn, a…[Read more]
