Thought I would give ya’ll an update on me. As Most know I had a stoke on Dec. 18 which left me paralyzed on my right side. The stroke was brought on by a combination of my blood thinner getting out of whack and a spike in blood pressure which caused my brain to bleed after 67 days in What ended up being four different hospitals, I was able to recover some movement in my leg and arm. The last six weeks has been with home heath therapy and this week I will start outpatient therapy at DCH Northport. Right now, I would say I’ve got 85% use of my leg and maybe 50% use of my arm/hand. The only pain I have is in my shoulder and big toe. Yes, I can move my arm and hand but I’m not fully in control of that movement and it not smooth. This is the hand I squeeze the bag but more important the hand I load with and right now if I picked up a round, I would probably drop it before I could get it loaded mainly because it would take a few attempts to get the hand to put it where it needs to go. hopefully when I start outpatient therapy, they can address this. We sold our house to move closer to our kids/grandkids So right now I don’t have my reloading stuff set up but hopefully that will change next week or so. I’m not where I hope to be with My recover when I had said I would shoot in June but I’m not ruling it out.
As my recovery continues to get better my wife’s heath is failing fast right now, she is more important than shooting

Richard, great to hear that you are progressing. Stay strong and work hard at the rehab program. The wife and I will be sure and remember the Mrs. in our prayers. When you think the time has come to venture this way, I’ll see that you get all the help you need. I even bet we could see that all you had to do was point and pull. Be sure and keep us all informed. WWE
