Sorry to be maybe a few days late getting this posted but things have been busy around here. First, I hope each of you have had a good holiday weekend. Those of you that did not make it to Steve’s last month, you missed some fun shooting of a different kind.
Reese Bottom will host a 2 X 20 X 1000 yard match on Saturday September 18, 2021. Please use this topic to register your attendance by Thursday September 16, 2021 at 7:00 pm. This is a little different format but do not fret, bring about 50 or 60 rounds and we will make it work. Please arrive by 8:00 am so that we can get things going. Best I remember, the last couple of Septembers have produced some good shooting conditions. See you on the 18th. WWE

We are closing registration for the 1000 yard match scheduled for Saturday September 18, 2021. We have six open shooters and seven ftr shooters. Please arrive by 8 am so that we can get things going. All that I can tell you about the weather is that it will be wet. It has rained here for three days non stop and they are saying the same for the next several days. If anything changes, please stop by here for updates. I hate calling a match but I do not want to have to deal with the etarget system in the rain. Hopefully things will change for the better and we will be good to go. WWE

I plan to get up around 5:30 in the morning. If anything changes, I will post before 6:00 am in the morning. I notice that the chances are pretty high all morning. We will see. If we shoot, as you are driving in, slow down, the hogs have rooted up the road terribly before you go under the railroad. I was at Reese Bottom this afternoon and things are not as bad as you might think. I would suggest that everyone check here in the morning before leaving home. WWE
