November Long Range Match

Let’s use this topic to register our attendance for the November Long Range Prone match to be held on Saturday November 19, 2022. This will be the last match held at Reese Bottom during 2022. Hunting season and wet weather seem to get in the way every December and January. Hopefully we will get things going again in February. Please arrive by 8:00 am and we will get things going as soon as possible. The course of fire will be a full match of 3 X 20 X 1000 yards. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can witness some fine long range shooting. If things work well, I will try to do a little something different for lunch. Anyway, I will have some food and drinks. Please register here by Thursday night November 17 at 7 pm. Hope to see many of you at the match. WWE

As of Wednesday night around 8 pm we have 17 good shooters signed up for the match. There is a good split between divisions. Registration closes at 7 pm tomorrow night but I would like to hold the number to no more than twenty. That leaves three spots open so if interested do not wait to register. WWE

Let’s agree to close registration for the November Long Range Prone Match. We have nine good shooters in the Open class and eight good shooters in the FTR class. Please try to be here by 8 am and we will get things going as soon as possible. I will have some food and drinks. Planning to fry some catfish for lunch. Also, for those interested, the guy has said that I can pick up the new sweatshirts by tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. WWE

Steve, there is a 50 gallon barrel over there that would do for a fire pit. The old stove has rusted out. Maybe a dozen pieces or so should get us by. Thanks, WWE
