Reese Bottom will host a long-range prone match on Saturday March 15, 2025. The course of fire will be 3 X 20 X 1000 yards all measured with the Shotmarker E-target system. We will take a maximum of twenty good shooters with four able to shoot from a bench. The benches are only for those not able to shoot prone. I think I see how we could possibly shoot a fifth bench if needed. Registration will close at first twenty or on Thursday night March 13th at 7:00 pm. Please plan to arrive by 8:00 am on the morning of the shoot. I will have some food and drinks. Please use this topic to register for the match. Remember to, no way to know what the weather might be on that day. If questionable, please check here before leaving home. Look forward to seeing everyone on the 15th. WWE

Sunday night, March 9, about 9:00 pm. As of this time, we have three spots open. We ask that you please register by this Thursday night at 7:00 pm. I suggest that we keep an eye on the weather, also. Not sure about the weekend weather at this time but there is rain predicted throughout the week. If it rains during the week, then a big rain on Friday could get the creek across the road. I will not cancel the match unless absolutely necessary. I cannot contact everyone registered so I beg you to keep up with me here on the forum. If something changes, I will post it here as soon as possible. For those of you traveling, if you were to decide not to chance coming, please say so on here. Tuesday night around 8:00 pm and we still have three spots available, but, the wife was just reading me a weather forecast for Friday and Saturday and at this time things are looking bad. We are still five days out so who knows. I remind everyone to please check here to keep up with anything that might change. Please do not shoot the messenger but I am canceling the March Long Range Prone Match. I hope that the forecast is a bust, but as of Thursday morning the predictions are not good. Again, I am sorry but think this is the best decision. Several good shooters have already canceled so when you read this, please help spread the word. I was very excited to have so many good shooters signed up for the March match and I sure hope that all of you will consider coming in April. Take care of yourself, WWE

It’s hard to say the word Cancel, but we all understand that the weather could be very unpredictable and Better to be safe than sorry.
We will see everyone next month.
