June 2022 Mid Range Prone Match

On Saturday June 18, 2022 Reese Bottom will host a mid range prone match. The course of fire will be 2 X 20 X 600 yards. We will have both an Open division and a FTR division. Entry fee is $25.00 per shooter and I will have something to eat and drink. Please register for the match here in this topic. Hope to see many of you on the 18th. Please try to arrive by 8:00 am so that we can get things going by 9:00 am. WWE

I’m having another procedure done on my eye this Thursday. For 8 months now I have been legally blind in my left eye. Most days can’t even see the reticle in the scope. They will be injecting a pellet into the fluid portion of my eye to battle the internal swelling. Hope it works so I can start back shoot

I forgot to mention that I would like to close the registration at 7:00 pm on Thursday June 16th. Looks to be a good crowd with a pretty good split between divisions. The weather channel is predicting a very hot day so plan to stay hydrated. I’ll have a few drinks and something to eat so load ‘um up and plan to come shoot well. Hope to see everyone on the 18th. Registration is closed for the June match and it appears that we will have fifteen good shooters attending. Nine Open shooters and six FTR’s. Good to see several good shooters signed up that have not shot at Reese Bottom in a while. The forecast is for hot temps so plan to stay hydrated and I would also suggest that everyone consider the expected temps when it comes to load development. The Open guys shot first in May so plans are to let the FTR guys shoot first and Johnny Pace will move up with the FTR’s to square up the relays. Look forward to seeing everyone Saturday and hope that everyone will enjoy themselves and shoot well. Hopefully we can get going a little early. WWE
