February match report -the gremlins won

It sure felt good to be back shooting at Reese Bottoms!
It was good to meet the new to me shooters along with the regulars that got to attend. I think most would agree that today the wind won!
As for me the Reese Bottoms gremlins pretty much had a hay day with me the last couple matches and especially today my scope has been invested by these Gremlins. I came to the match with know scope drop and get there and it was not even close more than a full revaluation off today more like a round and a half off and this has happen couple times lately and today cause me to use most of sighter rounds just to get on paper and the second relay I had to add even more. My 1st relay was 182-1x and my 2nd did improve to a 186-2x
And after looking at other shooters score I felt somewhat better about mine. When I started my 3rd relay I only had two sighter round and was able get the scope drop where I thought it would work so I punched the for record button but did double check to make sure it activated and yes those little Gremlins had attached it as well but I didn’t notice until I had fired two rounds I thought was for score but was NOT! Then I realized that now I did NOT have enough to finish my 3rd relay. So for me today Gremlins won.
Moving forward I plan on switching scopes to see if the Gremlins have indeed infested this scope and that is the problem and try to make sure when I hit the for score button those Gremlins don’t keep it from activating
And as always I set goals for each match
To make Mr. Wynne smile all day and not do anything that would turn his smile off. Well because of those Gremlins that didn’t fully happen as best he tried
Shoot a new high relay for 1K. My best 1k relay was 194 today I I didn’t even shoot a 190 relay so Goal was not meet
That all my relay scores be be consistent in their score And all in the 190’s. Not even close to reaching this Goal
To enjoy shooting with friends at Reese Bottoms
I reach this Goal even today with Gremlins and their wind.
I normal run the numbers but tonight I’m just not in the mood
I would like to thank you guys for your support today as those Reese Bottom Gremlins had fun today at my expense
Hope next month those Gremlins are gone on vacation
