      It seems that I may be the only one still firing a stock 5R in 308. It has a Jewell trigger, but that is it. Is anyone also firing an “out of the box” 308?

      Mike,

      I believe I am using the same exact setup currently. Its a standard 5R with a Jewell trigger and a Harris bipod. Thats about it.

      Mr. Mike, There are at least two more of those rifles that occasionally shoot at Reese Bottom. WWE

      Thanks for the replies. I enjoy firing my 5R in 308. I think it does very well for an “out-of-the-box” rifle. Perhaps, if I live that long, when the barrel needs replacing I will have Britt work his magic on it.
