I have updated the Home Page, the Results Page, and the Photos Page with photos and results from the pairs match held yesterday Saturday August 20, 2022. A big thank you to all of you good shooters that participated in the match yesterday. I well understand that this is something that I dreamed up simply to do things a little differently from time to time and I appreciate each of you for taking the time and making the effort to pull this type match off. And yes I realize that not all teams are equal but to me it is all about appreciating each other rather than “The Winning”. I can promise you, and bet John will verify, that although we finished middle of the pack, John Sanders and I left the match with a good feeling about what we had just experienced together. The one thing that really caught my attention was that several teams failed to really communicate much between shots. Not sure why but I guess some people do not feel comfortable expressing their thoughts. [And then we have several that cannot hear it thunder and to their partners I say that I am sorry] lol. I would love to hear from several of you as to how your day went. Please, pretty please. WWE
On a side note, plan to come early next month as we will be hosting a yard sale with all the items left at the Bottom yesterday. For starters, we have a water jug, a nice spotting scope, and a couple of comfortable looking chairs.
I’ll end this by saying that I cannot control what each of you say to one another, but just remember that at Reese Bottom it is only “The Committee” of one that really matters. Hope to see all of you back again in September for a 2 X 20 X 1000. WWE

This was my favorite match to date! I really had a great time and i learned a lot. Brett Collins is always telling me to slow down and watch the wind. The pairs match naturally makes the participants do that. I also like this match format because its a true scout/Sniper set up. Mr wynne and I were making changes to our point of aim as we were taking the slack out of the trigger. I was very pleased with the result even though we finished mid pack. I was cheering for Mr. wynne to shoot a perfect 300 and he only dropped 1 point all day on the last shot. We both laughed and thats what its all about. We all have a competitive sprit but its not like we are winning a world championship or making our house payments at Reesebottom. I enjoy myself every month i would hope that we will all support each other no matter what you shoot or what position you shoot it. Thank you for picking me as your Partner Mr. Wynne i really enjoyed it.
