Aug team match

To me Saturday was a fun day I enjoyed shooting the team matches a couple of times a year it gives me a chance to not only learn but get to know that person but also share ideals which I think is what Mr. Wynne is hoping for. I was excited when I learned that I would be shooting with Mr. Allen. He brings a lot to the table when talking about shooting and reloading and we openly shared ideals and I Think we left with a mutual respect for each other.
Now my match report:
In shooting a pairs match one of my goals is to always shoot as good as my partner Saturday there was one point difference in our scores so I was happy with that. Normally a few days before match day I’ll try to go pre-foul my clean barrel cause I personally think that my barrel shoots better if I do that but I didn’t get a chance to this match. Not that I’m using that for an excuse but as Mr. Wynne jokingly said that we would have been better off shooting our first few bullets down through the woods somewhere lol. Like I’ve stated in previous match reports I consider myself an average shooter I like to look at the numbers and comparing myself to the avg. this month I ran the numbers as a team
The match avg. score was 588 we shot 593, the avg. X count was 27 we shot a total of 28 both above avg. so happy camper!!
I enjoyed meeting the new to me shooters hope they will return I also enjoyed when Mr. Wynne asked one of them to speak to the group and explain his philosophy on shooting because nobody ever comes to this forum and Share information maybe each month mr. Wynne could pick a different shooter to share their philosophy and ideals after the match.
In closing I was told Saturday after the match that I was using my handicap for an advantage. Mr Wynne if the “committee “ would review my equipment and how I shoot and if they find that I am in fact using it for a vantage then moving forward I will pay my money shoot the match and you don’t have to include my results in the final standings
Look forward to seeing all my RB friends next month
