Well, March got here in a hurry. Like February, we will have plenty of time to register for the match. Reese Bottom will host a long-range prone match on Saturday March 21, 2026. The match will be a 3 X 20 X 1000. We will have the same three divisions: open, ftr, and bench. We will take up to twenty-five good shooters, five of which can shoot from a bench. I ask that you be ready to shoot by 8 am. Plans are to shoot the bench first, then the open shooters, and let the ftr’s go last. I will have a few drinks and a little something to eat. Registration will close Thursday night March 19 at 7:00 pm.

I will not call a match unless the creek is out and we cannot get to the shooting shed. Spring rains usually get up on the shooting slab a time or two each year. I was impressed with how well the shed provided cover for the twenty plus participants last month.
