There was a great opportunity from today that should better help the shooters that frequent Reese Bottom understand how the spreadsheet determines who wins. See the results of the first three shooters in the March Mechanical Division. Look to the far right. The spreadsheet averages the 4 groups and totals the 4 scores and ranks the results against the other shooters in the division. Today in the mechanical division a good shooter was going to be 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 in both agg avg and score. Wynne’s, Surrell’s, and Sonny’s totals all added to 4 but yet Wynne was 1st, Surrell was 2nd, and Sonny was 3rd. Why? Because Wynne’s agg avg was less than Surrell’s who’s agg avg was less than Sonny’s. The spread sheet gives more weight to the agg avg than it does score which creates the tie breaker. I have written about this before, I just hope that it all makes perfect sense. If anyone has a question, I will try to find an answer. Surrell, you have a cash prize coming. WWE
