Normally I set a goal to have fun at RB but I don’t have to set that as a goal anymore because it’s automatic, the shooters at Reece bottom except me for who I am and what I shoot and is fully made up with “my people”. Win, lose or draw always leave with the same smile on my face that I came with. The hardest goal I have each month is making Mr. Wynne smile and laugh all day Saturday I felt like for one the few times I reach that goal! And hopefully that will happen more moving forward. I really enjoyed meeting Barry and Tylor super nice guys that invited me up to shoot “that thing I shoot” with them in Como. It was also good to see new names in the winner’s circle I get tired of getting beat by the same
Now my match report 60 rounds at 1K
1St. Shot to see if you’re on paper always a pucker factor and after what seems like hrs. My shot popped up 9 borderline 10 which not only put a smile on my face but the 1st. Of many smiles on Mr. Wynne’s face and got me a Pat on the back. Because I’m borderline on 1k I set different goal at 1k than at 600 one of my goals was to keep all 3 relays in the 190’s with my relay score of 190, 189 and 191 I did not fully react that but being a avg. guy, my avg. relay score was 190 so I somewhat reached that.
But was very happy that my last relay was my highest normally my 1st. Relay is my best but Sat. I was able to refocus and make my last the best. My best relay at 1k at RB is 192 I was hoping to beat that but can up short. Running the numbers, the avg. score shot Sat. Was 575 mine 570 so little below avg. the X count avg. was 14 mine 10 so again little below avg. Each month I get shoot again some great shooters shooting some well-built pretty custom rifles with some rest that’s worth more than my whole set up and no I don’t expect to be featured as gun or shooter of the month but all it takes is being avg. with that “thing I shoot” on a side note on the last relay Mr. Wynne pointed out that it keeps popping up that my last rely my shots were borderline of going subsonic yet my last relay was my best. Saturday one of my greatest accomplishments was I motivated Surrell by telling him if her didn’t shoot his best 3rd relay, he was going to have to tell people he got beat by an almost 70-year-old my man shooting a handgun at 1k it worked because he did shoot his best of the day on his 3rd. And beat me by 3
In closing I would to thank not only Mr. Wynne but all my friends that have supported me over the last 2 years and especially the last year it means a lot to me and my family
      Happy Holidays
forgive if this is had to read and understand my typing and thinking sometime dont come out as planned. right now typing is harder than reloading and shooting

I had a bunch of fun and will for sure be back. I’ll have a BRA pistol within the next year, I guarantee it.

Richard, everyone knows that you are my favorite. You are the only good shooter that attends the matches at Reese Bottom that does what is asked of here in the forum. I always look forward to reading your report. I get involved trying to run the matches and often times are not a part of the shooting conversations during the match. I miss that and wish that more would come to the forum with their thoughts and ideas. All that is asked is that the topics not be vulgar or political. This would be a wonderful place to advertise other matches or report your experiences at other matches. Reloading issues or shooting pluses or minuses would make good topics. Nike says “Just Do It”. Tyler, nice meeting you, and proud to see Barry again after such a long time away.

This writing is on Monday morning the 21st. Remember Steve Gilley today as he is having a procedure done on one of his eyes today. Happy Thanksgiving, WWE

I had a great time this past Saturday and really enjoyed making it back to shoot again. Wynne, you have done so much with the place and it shows, you can always get a dirt pan if you lose interest in the dozer, 😂😂😂!
I travel a pretty good bit shooting matches and this truly is a hidden gem, I’m looking forward to coming back on a more regular basis and it was great seeing old faces and meeting new ones, it’s the people that make fclass what it is. The fish fry was outstanding and a great way to finish off the season.
Mr. Richard, it was a pleasure meeting and talking with you and I hope you and some of the other Reese bottom shooters can come join us in como or Memphis and shoot some matches. You have given Tyler an itch for a pistol that he’s gotta scratch now. Lol.
Thanks again for all of the hospitality and look forward to seeing everyone next year.
