It almost seems like forever since we shot, but shoot week is here. We have until Thursday night at 7:00 pm to register but it looks like already that we have a good group coming. As most of you know this is a match format that I dreamed up a year or two ago just to do things a little differently from time to time. It looks like one class of rifle might outnumber the other by a few. If that is still the case Thursday once registration is complete, I ask that each of you trust my judgement in dividing things up. The format will be two partners shooting alternate shots for 2 X 30. Communicating and coaching between partners is encouraged. We plan to pay several places and there will be a ‘Gunny Pot’. I will have some food and drinks and if we are lucky, it might even be a little cooler. If each of you will come planning to shoot 30 tens or X’s, it will not matter who I pair you with.lol Looking forward to seeing everyone this Saturday, WWE

Okay, we are closing things down for the August Pairs Match. We have tried to pair things up as well as we can with what we have to work with. lol. The committee has met and we are attaching a photo of the ten pairs. Try to arrive around 8 am and we will get things going as quickly as possible. Not real sure what the weather will be like but hopefully it will not be a problem. I’ll have food and drinks so please plan to come and enjoy yourself. I have the new Boykin made targets ready to go, I hope, and it appears that the virtual ‘X’ is a tad over two MOA below the target ‘X’. I would suggest taking two MOA out of your known 600 elevation and chase from there. Take care and we will see all of you good shooters Saturday morning. WWE
