I, like Richard also hope that everyone has had a fun, safe July 4th. Now let’s turn our attention to the July match. As listed, the match will be a Mid Range Prone event. The course of fire will be 2 X 20 X 600 yards. We will have both a FTR and an Open Division. The match will be run the same as in the past. I will have drinks and food so make plans to load up your A game and come on down. The match will be held on Saturday July 16, 2022. Please try to be here by 8 am and we will start shooting shortly after that. Please register your attendance here in this topic. Look forward to seeing everyone on the 16th. WWE

Where are all of the .308 guys? Please register before Thursday July 14th at 7:00 pm. for the match this coming Saturday. We are in the process of redoing the 600 yard target backers. Mike Boykin made the frames and Scott Parten made the ground anchors so that the frames can be easily removed for 1000 yard shooting. A helper and I ran into a problem this week trying to dig holes for the anchors. The hand auger would not dig into the limerock so I decided to wait until after the July match and pull the present frames up and use the same holes. These will be very nice once completed. WWE

The door is locked for July. We have sixteen good shooters signed up for the match. The Open Division should be a shootout with ten rifles entered. There are six .308s in the FTR Division. Please arrive by 8 am so that we can get things going on time. I will have a few drinks and something to eat. The course of fire will be 2 X 20 X 600. We have had evening showers this week, but not much at all. Should get warm before we are done. Look forward to seeing everyone Saturday morning. WWE
