  I hope that your July 4th has been as nice as ours has. Pulled pork BBQ, BBQ ribs, potato salad, baked beans, bread, ice tea, peach cobbler and vanilla Blue Bell ice cream. Now it is time to prepare for the July match. On Saturday July 17, 2021 we will be shooting a 1000 yard pairs match. We will divide the shooters up with an Open gun and a FTR gun paired together and each pair of shooters will shoot 3 X 20 X 1000 yards alternate shot. That is 30 rounds each plus foulers. Please register by 7:00 pm on Thursday July 15th. If you have a gun for each class, please let me know because this takes some flexibility to pull off. I will pair up the shooters and mention which division to shoot in later at night on the 15th. We have done this before so each of you should know what to expect.
  
  Another thought, Johnathan Jones mentioned that several places that he and Katelyn shoot are skipping the summer months because of the heat. I do not want to stop shooting but was wondering if you travelers would be willing to get here an hour earlier to try to beat the heat. Let’s register here and also voice your opinion about the start time. Do not forget that Richard Slaton and I will be teamed together if the numbers work out right. Make plans to see me on the 17th.   I will have to shoot from one of the larger Benches if that create a problem just do what you have to or if you end up with a odd number I can just set this match out no problem

  Richard Allen called this afternoon. He is in shooting 6.5 X 47 in the Open side.
  
  This weather is something and I still have not bushhogged the range. We missed the afternoon rain and I was going to cut the range in the morning but about 8 pm we had a chunk floater. I’ll try my best to get this done but if it does not stop raining it will be difficult.
  
  Remember that registration will close Thursday night at 7 pm. I will then pair up the shooters and post here in this topic so please check later that night and see if I have given any of you special instructions. I would love to get started shooting by 8 am which is an hour earlier than usual. For those of you that travel from afar if you want to be later please just post here so that I will know. Thanks, WWE

  Mr. Wynne I’m making arrangements with my driver (My sister’s son) to have me there in time to shoot @ 8. Rain,wind or shine hopefully the over the hill team will have er dialed in
