Firearm safety and enjoyment at a young age usually produces top-notch marksmen and marksladies down the road. Like they say, “Practice makes perfect!”

Buck masters expo has set up a program to attract and train 4H kids who are interested in the shooting sport. They held the expo last weekend in Montgomery and offered Archery, Skeet, and 22 rifle safety courses and competitions. Everything is paid for by Buckmasters except hotel stay. Our local 4H had six kids wanting to go so I sponsored the trip by paying for their rooms. Our agent took the kids and they had a blast. Us older shooters should do more to try getting kids into shooting!
