Lots of y’all will be glad to know that I pulled the 300 WSM barrel off my tactical rifle and replaced it with a more recoil manageable 6.5. Hope it shoots as good as the other barrel!

What flavor of 6.5 did you go with?

Went with a 4 groove Krieger barrel in 6.5×47. Breaking barrel in using 38.0 grains of R-15 with some 130 bergers. Plan on going to the 140 Hybrids because I have so many of them but the 130’s shot great. A 5 shot group from a just cleaned barrel at 200 yards measured only .76″ with the last 4 shots going into .305″
