Let’s use this topic to register for the May long-range prone match. The match will be held on Saturday May 16, 2026. The course of fire will be 3 X 20 X 1000. This will be the last 1000-yard shooting until the West Alabama Long-Range Championship held in September. June, July, and August will all be shot at 600 yards. The May match is to include a V2 add on if we have enough shooters. The Open and FTR divisions are required to have a minimum of five good shooters to have a match. Please keep up with these numbers because several of our good shooters are participating in the V2 Finale this coming week in New Mexico and may not be present the following week. Anyway, we can take up to twenty-five good shooters with five able to shoot from a bench. Please be present and ready to shoot by 8 am or shortly thereafter. I will have a little something to eat and drink but it won’t be as good as last month. WWE

Registration for the May Long-Range Prone Match is now closed. We have thirteen good shooters registered for the match. We have enough open shooters to qualify for the V2 match. Unfortunately, there are only three FTR shooters. Please be ready to shoot shortly after 8:00 am. I will have a little something to eat and drink.
Be sure and follow the fellows out west competing in the V2 Finale. The wind obviously blows harder out there than at the friendly confines at Reese Bottom. Looking forward to seeing everyone this Saturday. WWE
