Reese Bottom will host a long-range prone match on Saturday May 17, 2025. The match will be a 3 X 20 X 1000 prone match scored by the Shotmarker etarget system. Please use this topic to register for the match before Thursday night, May 15th at 7 pm. As always, we will take a maximum of twenty good shooters with four being able to shoot from a bench. I will have food and drinks so please arrive by 8 am and plan to be shooting about 9 am. Be advised that this will be the last long-range match until September. June, July, and August will all be shot at 600 yards. If the weather is suspect, please check here on the forum for any possible change in plans. I look forward to seeing everyone on the 17th. WWE

It’s Sunday May 11, 2025 around 3:00 pm and I hope that all of you good shooters have been nice to the children’s Mother all day. Just a reminder, as of now we have sixteen good shooters registered for the match next weekend. That means we have three or four spots available, whichever comes first. If you see what I mean. As of this posting, the weather forecast looks very good. Please pass the word and let’s fill this one up. Remember the next three will be mid-range with no more long range until September. WWE

All spots are occupied. Please arrive by 8:00 so that we can get things going. I will have something to eat and drink. I have purchased new cables and sensors for the Shotmarker system so hopefully things will be a little smoother. Looking forward to a great match this weekend. Well, the witching hour has come and gone. For the first time since I limited the number of shooters to twenty, we have twenty. Thanks everyone for your support of Reese Bottom. We have fourteen Open good shooters and six FTR good shooters. The weather looks promising, and we are looking forward to a very competitive match. Several have noticed that I am not shooting. Two contacted me today to offer their spot. Thanks, but with a full group that I have been begging for, I will survive the day better just watching from behind. Look forward to seeing everyone by 8:00 on this Saturday. WWE
