Just a reminder to everyone that Reese Bottom will not host a match during the month of June. Our next scheduled match will be a midrange prone match held on Saturday July 20, 2024. The match will be announced around the first of July. WWE

The May 2024 Midrange Prone match had to be postponed due to rain last Saturday. One good shooter was heard saying that his rifle will not shoot as well on the fourth Saturday has it normally does on the third Saturday. This thing walked by the camera at Reese Bottom a couple of nights ago. I do not see a tail but it is odd looking to be a bobcat.

Good Shooters, I am sorry for all of you that make arrangements for the third Saturday mornings and then have your plans interrupted. With the water across the road and more rain predicted, I felt like it was better to make the call last night rather than this morning.

Fellows it is about 9:30 Friday night. Suze and I have just gotten home from a graduation party and tried to ride to Reese Bottom. We have had a ton of rain today with more to come. It is Thursday May 16 at almost 10:00 pm. We are closing registration for the May Mid-Range Prone Match. We have twelve good shooters signed up for the match. On Saturday, May 18, 2024 Reese Bottom will host a midrange prone match. The match will be a 3 X 20 X 600 yard event. Remember, plans are to shoot at 600 yards the months of May, July, and August with the June match being cancelled.
