Kenneth yes please stay in FTF and terrorize them, Open class has a full all star class of great shooters, I’m having hard time trying to keep my head above water and it’s getting harder and harder for me to shoot an average score with all the 200’s being shot now.

Well Steve it’s always good if can get a little more bark with a little bite. I get less bark with way more bite! What I shot you better hang on to it or you will be wiping blood off your face lol.

Wow Steve I got my tail kicked all last shooting year by the Max and now looks like I’ll get it kicked this next year by the SWC!

Well Mr. Wynne I think in the Nov. match about a third of the field in open was shooting the 7 Max and there were several 200’s shot with it, they proved its a winner for sure. I guess Us 6mm guys are no match for the Max. And “better run for the hills”

Barry you may not get many if any reply’s during this dead period between the last match of the year and 1st. Match in Feb. very few come here other than to sign up and see the results during the shooting season. I’m probably just going to shoot the same ole same ole. I had thought about maybe shooting a 223 I built in some of the 600 match if I r…[Read more]

Anyone that reads my monthly match reports over the years know I’m just an Average shooter shooting below average equipment And I like to run the numbers each month to see if my score is close or above the match average that’s one of my goals each match is to shoot above match average. so I got to thinking and decided to run the numbers to see wha…[Read more]

So Barry if I’m reading your post right you’re saying that your load development effected your score more than the mirage? And with a well tuned load the mirage should have little or no effect on your score?
And you didn’t shoot any proven loads during the match and your score reflected that. Just trying to learn about these things. -

I agree with the mirage but was it not as bad for the FTR guys or did they they do a better job adjusting for it than us open guys?

Looks like most of the open shooters the last target was there worst
mine was if you include the X count. But not so for the FTR guys
Any comments? -

Well it’s was great to be back shooting with friends at Reese Bottom and good to see a few new to me faces and it looks like the 7 max was well represented. The open class was filled to the rim with what 15 open shooters compared to only 4 good shooters in FTR, what’s up with that FTR guys?
After my normal week before match range day I felt pre…[Read more] - Load More
