ParticipantWell I Came with a game plan the same game plan that I came with last month and just like last month I didn’t do what that plan was lol. That plan was DON’T over thank it, shoot the way you know how to shoot not the way you think you know but in Reality you don’t know. I’ve watched to many videos on shooting and think I can shoot like the pro’s but in the real world And with what I shoot I can’t.
Relay #1
I started with the scope setting from last and 1st. Sighters Was a left 7 ok I had 2 clicks left so Took one out which result in left 8 both sighters were slightly low left so up 2 clicks and back to zero on windage which resulted in an X and three tens followed by a called 9 so filling like I got the scope where I needed it I’m ready for score first 5 shots 3tens and two X’s. Then I revert back to that “I know what I’m doing” which you got it back to back 9’s
So I tell me self SHOOT YOUR GAME! The last 13 shoots I shot my game and yes I had 3 nines in the last 13 but I shot my game. Looking at my group for score pretty much round, my windage looked good but it look like the group started trending high
For a 195 -4x Avg speed of 1825, SD 12Relay #2
Looked like I was wondering lost in the desert, total mental laps. Then on shot 8 I did what Mr. Wynne keeps telling us be care not to do CROSSFIRE
Then I did that “mad at my self” and finished the relay putting very little effort in it. For a score of 182-4 X’s
Avg. speed of 1841 Sd 15Relay #3
After a good talking to myself I said Self your going to shoot your game, your going to first make sure your on the right target, adjust your scope from what the sighters tell you, your going to grip your gun the way you know you need to then pick your aiming point, squeeze the trigger and then follow through the shot . 1st Sighter a 9 but that seams to be the norm for me followed 1X and two tens, ready or not going for score and also the norm for me the 1st. Shot For score was a way left nine then the next 9 shots 5 tens and 4 X’s and then 9, X,9 but Im shooting my game! Finished the relay with X’s and 10’s. The three nines I shot on this relay were solids 9’s close to 8’s. The main group was drifting high and left.
197 with 7 X’s avg speed 1849 SD 11.7
I think they were 3 or 4 crossfires today which really didn’t make me feel me better about mine, but mine got me starting to question my self that’s something I got to workout.
Today relay 3 was the first time in many months that I fully shot “my game” and not the game the pro’s on the internet shoot.I think most will agree ever body has to learn what works for them.
Congrads to the winner and welcome to my world to the losers
See y’all next month good lord willing and the creek don’t rise -

KeymasterThanks Mr. Richard. Maybe one day others will realize that in order to occupy Position 1A as you do, all they have to do is share their experiences at Reese Bottom. One thing that caught my attention yesterday was the number of shot number 20″s that were 9’s. At least two that I remember were after nineteen cleans. Maybe #20 requires as much effort as 1-19. Thanks again. WWE
