Looking back at yesterday, what a nice day for a benchrest match.  We had a record number of shooters(31) which included four first timers.  The grounds were a little damp but the skies were clear and a gentle wind blew most of the day.  I am very impressed with the level of competition and if you will look at the mechanical division notice how close the top six shooter’s aggs are.  Sorry that I could not be a part, but one thing was accomplished, my 24″ cut-off BR barrel has since been turned into a boat anchor.  My granddaddy always told me that if you did not come in first, you were last.  Not sure he was talking about “DAL”
