Well, it was a beautiful October day in Alabama. But, beautiful days do not guarantee good shooting conditions. I thought the third target was the worst that I had ever aimed at. Tried to adjust the scope but could never determine a scoring ring to hold off on. With ‘The Big Red Clock’ ticking, I decided to send an experimental shot or two that did not score so well. Anyway, the fun is in the trying.

Thanks to the fourteen good shooters that participated in the October match. A special congratulations to good shooter, Kenneth Thomas, for his results in the FTR division. Kenneth has been a longtime supporter of Reese Bottom and is one that is always willing to help with things. The committee has anointed him chief photographer. The November long range match will be the last match of 2024. Remember that we take up to twenty good shooters. Please help promote the match and let’s fill all the spots. We especially need more FTR shooters. Remember too, being the last match we will have a couple of small presentations to make. Wynne occupies the twentieth spot and he challenges the field to find someone to take his place. We will announce the November match around the first of the month. WWE
