Well after missing the last match and us shooting 1K this month I was a little concerned that I could come fully prepaired to do what Mr. Wynne has ask “To come prepared to complete” but after a range day the week before and little tuning of the shooter I felt a little better. But range day don’t necessarily equal match day specially at a thousand so the pucker on that 1st. Shot was in full force and was very relieved that the 1st was not only on paper and it scoring a 8. After 4 more sighters and a little adjusting I was ready to go for score and glad someone else is pushing the “for record button”. My 1st relay was mixture of 9’s and 10’s and one 8 with 6x’s for a score of 192 with 6’s which is a good relay for me at 1K. But normally for some reason my 2nd relay is usually my low relay, but my second was a copy of the 1st. And with a third relay 196 4x was a new high relay for me at 1k so I finished strong!
      Goals for the match
#1 as always not be a problem for Mr. Wynne and maybe make him smile
He will have to answer whether I reach that goal or not, hope I did.
#2 Have fun and enjoy, that’s pretty easy at Reese Bottom win or lose just shooting with friends and giving it my best, check
#3 no 8’s or less, had 2 8’s so no
#4 finish strong, check with a new high relay for me at 196
#5 at 1k keep all relays 190 and above, check
#6 a relay above 195 for new high at 1k, 196 on third so check
#7 not come in last, check
Running the numbers, I knew with today’s all star cast it would be hard to shoot about average but I did
The avg. score for open was 578 and the avg. for FTR 583 so match avg. was 580 So with my 580 I shot avg.
main thing I enjoyed the day shooting with friend which was just what the doctor and my family order
Thank you Mr. Wynne for all you do and for sharing Reese Bottom

Thanks, fellows, for making the matches such a fun time. Richard, I believe you would have done much better if you had not have had to shoot with a crooked leg joy pod. I always look forward to you sharing your report. The committee wishes that more good shooters would do the same. Thanks for your support. WWE
