The tale of two cities
I came to the Match Saturday thinking that I could do what Mr. Wynne ask us to do come prepared to compete and on the first relay That preparedness resulted in me matching my best 1K relay of 193 which made me feel good about the day. But that abruptly changed on the second it was like I brought a different gun and a different shooter to the line! After making couple mental mistakes things went south with a second rely of 186 and didn’t improve on the third with a 187. I know the conditions changed but staying on top of that is what makes a good shooter. I always feel good about the day if I shoot match average or above that was not the case Saturday. I finished with a 566 the match average was 573 so I finish a little below average but because other shooters had problems I did some how finish 3rd in open.
Bottom line I enjoyed spending the day shooting with old and some new friends
Thanks mr. Wynne for all you do to let us come enjoy and thanks to the good shooters for your friendship and support
