Today was just what the doctor and my family ordered! Me getting out of the house and doing what I love and what my wife loved for me to do GO SHOOT. I was hoping to get dialed in @1k but with me not totally in the grove and a pretty strong wind I had 2.5 MOA (No clicks LOL) of right windage just to stay around the 9 ring and 1.5 MOA of elevation more than I did the last 1k shoot? Soo I guess I will see at the march match but still not overly concerned. On my 10 for record I had a lot of 9’s and a couple of 10’s which is about par for me but somewhere along the line an 8 popped up then on the last shot a 7 which didn’t make me happy. I always feel good about the day if my score is nothing but 9’s and 10’s and real happy if more 10’s than 9’s today was not the case. Can’t blame the wind because to be a good shooter you have to be able to correct for that. The big plus for the day I was outside shooting with friends and I know my wife was looking down and giving me one of her beautiful smiles. I was also happy to see some new faces I get tired of getting beat by the same old bunch. Mr. Wynne was nice enough to let me play with the 223 I had built @ 500 it’s a work in progress but hope to use it in some of the 600 yds. Match in the future.
In closing thanks guy for your support and prayers as I go through these emotional times
