Lets here form all the shooters do you like the Square or Diamond shape Sighter Plates at 200, 300, 400 and 500 yards?

I have never thought about comparing one to the other. Most targets have a square or rectangle shape. The problem that I seem to have with the plates is trying to determine the center of the splat and move that point to the center of the X on the target. If you think about it, a good shooter would expect his group size to be smaller than the entire splat on the plate. Click the attached photo to enlarge and see a five shot group recently shot at 600 yards. WWE

when I fist read this post I was thinking Diamond but because I had never shot diamond and have limited experience with sighter plates I held off on posting. I was thinking Diamond for the same reason as Brett could be easier to find center I guess I wont know to I try
Mr. WynneI saw that group posted I think .287 new record I would be very happy with that at 100 LOL
