At the bench, using a benchrest stock really helps take a lot of the problems out of the picture. If you notice, most of my rifles are heavy. This helps them stay lined up shot to shot. The more powerful the cartiridge the more mine weigh.
I have one rifle that tips the scale at 94 pounds. Not very practical for mid range shooting , but always on the table when I’m really trying to lay the down range at 1000yds and beyond.
